The joy of watching the Winter Olympics “Live” from Beijing in February 2022 with many exciting competitions of unusual and highly competitive sports played, from the majestic figure skating to the wonder of the heart-stopping aerial artists in action and those curling or flying down the luge! With China putting on truly great games amid these trying COVID times. 

And then comes along Mr Putin…

In a matter of days, I’ve gone from watching talented people from all corners of the globe competing with love and passion to “Live” images of a country being destroyed right in front of my very own eyes- As if it’s a Television Show. Countries of the World have massive military means – yet nothing has really been done to stop the destruction of a country with some 40 million people. I’ve seen whole villages destroyed, children’s hospitals bombed out, schools, shopping centers you name it all gone. Families are being torn apart with many living in constant fear. To be honest, I didn’t think that such a thing was possible in the year 2022…When we should be working together for our fragile planet’s health and wellbeing we have a Russian President that seems totally out of his mind. To be behind such orders of death and destruction makes me sick to the core, and he’s getting away with it!!! 

I’ve put the development of this website on hold for a bit, as the world has yet again changed, and I need to decide on the best way forward.

Thoughts & prayers for those that don’t have a safe place to sleep or a meal in their stomach.
